چکیده
Plant growth stimulating and antagonistic properties of 7 bacterial isolates beneficial Enterobacter spp. (EPR1- EPR7) screened from the rhizospheric soil Phaseolus vulgaris plants growing in Garhwal Himalaya, Uttarakhand, India was studied against borne phytopathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum causes root rots various crops. Among isolates, EPR4 showed 64.8% reduction colony fungal pathogen dual culture. All seven are capable producing Indole Acetic Acid (IAA), but also produced cyanogens, solubilized inorganic organic phosphate, siderophore, ACC (1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid) deamininase, extracellular enzymes like chitinase which inhibited phytopathogen. For strain, 16S rRNA gene sequencing followed by NCBI - BLAST similarity maximum sequence (100%) with species (available on data base), recognized as sp. (GenBank accession number JN225424). The has potential to be used a biocontrol agent S. well good plant promoter for common bean other crops grown India's Himalaya.

The Streptomycetes sp. SCBT strain Gen Bank accession number EU143270 isolated from the rhizosphere soil of medicinal plants was collected from the Kolli hills of Tamil Nadu, India. The strain Streptomyces is designated as School of Chemical and Biotechnology (SCBT), capable of inhibiting the growth of a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. An almost complete 16S rRNA gene se...
متن کاملPLANT GROWTH PROMOTING AND ANTAGONISTIC ACTIVITY OF Bacillus STRAINS ISOLATED FROM RICE RHIZOSPHERE
Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are advantageous bacteria that inhabit around plant roots and enhance plant growth by a wide variety of direct and indirect mechanisms. Utilization of PGPR is now gradually increasing in agriculture and offers an attractive way to replace chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and supplements. In our present study six endospore forming bacterial isolates t...
متن کاملSome Characteristics of a Plant Growth Promoting Enterobacter sp. Isolated from the Roots of Maize
Some properties of an Enterobacter sp. isolated from the roots of maize are described. Isolation was carried out using the semisolid enrichment culture technique and subsequent plating, both on nitrogen free biotin medium. Morphological, biochemical and phylogenetic characterization using the MicroSeq 16S rDNA technique were employed in identification of isolate, which was revealed to be closes...

The aims of this study were to evaluate the reaction of common bean lines to white mold, the aggressiveness of different Sclerotinia sclerotiorum isolates from various common bean production areas in Brazil, and comparison of the diallel and GGE (genotype main effect plus genotype-by-environment interaction) biplot analysis procedures via study of the line-by-isolate interaction. Eleven common ...
